"I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives," Rowling tweeted. She tried to clarify that first flippant tweet and wrote, I respect every trans person's right to live any way that feels authentic and comfortable to them. "It is highly problematic that this woman came out on Twitter as a full-blown transphobe in the middle of a civil rights revolution."
