What Is an Elders Job?

Carson: An elders job is to exemplify ordinary Christianity. He says the Bible doesn't say a lot, but it does give us an office of lay elders. Carson: It's not rocket science to figure out with this person who's been walking with the Lord for one week or one month or one year that they're facing.
