It's only by virtue of the words that other people say to us that we can resonate. That gives you keeps a power in your core, right? It's a shame. I'd like my dad to be proud of me or to say something nice, but if he's not, that's okay. And again, just because I'm a stickler for accuracy, those words never did affect your interpretation of them,. which is still you affected you.
