Carl's Lavender Score on His Performance Review
Carl Safina: I got a 90 according to lavender. So by the way, Carl has not gotten any emails to work in real, but he still says he wants to put a lavender score on his performance review. Here's what was going on behind the scenes. Mike told me something whenever we talked after we recorded our episode, he was like, you know, Carl, people don't buy lavender as a product. He said they're buying lavender as an service. And I was like, dang, that's a pretty compelling like frame shift. We need him out there talking about how he did so well on the score, even though he knows emails sucked.
