Is a Digital Asset a Security?
I don't see anything in the case law that tells me that some string of digits that operates on a blockchain can natively just be a security. I think it's a weird question in some sense to be asking, is this digital asset a security or not? So if I create a digital asset and I sell it to people to try to raise money to promote the network, that can be an investment contract transaction. When someone else goes and uses the asset to do whatever they want to do... That's not necessarily part of my investment contract transaction."
