Kazakhstan Voted for President Zelensky Addressing the UN Security Council by Video Conference?
There was a vote last week in the UN General Assembly to see whether or not they should allow President Zelensky to address the General Assembly by video conference. Russia, North Korea, Belarus, Syria, Nicaragua, Cuba and Eritrea voted against this. But some surprising countries voted in favor of allowing President Zelenskiy to address the United Nations - including Kazakhstan. And very interestingly, China abstained as did Uzbekistan. I just wondered, does this tell us anything else about the shifting power structures and security in Central Asia? It would be interesting to see what Dales, Kazakhstan does.
