Guitars - What Influences Your Songwriting?

We wondered if maybe the instruments that you use when you're writing sort of influence your songwriting and your creativity in their own unique ways. For instance, if my eyes don't deceive me, I can see your signature Fender Mustang in the background there. So I wondered if maybe you might write something on that that you wouldn't write on another guitar. Certainly.
