The Consequences of All This Development in Egypt
There's a growing frustration with the consequences both intended and unintended of all this development. The most obviously upset are those thousands of people who have been displaced from their homes. In heliopolis, for example, which is a neighborhood in eastern cairo, was once one of the rare bits green space a city that has very little. But over the past few years, the government has uprooted about a hundred acres worth of trees to make room for new roads.
