Doing Conjuration Is Hard Work
Christianity is by far the biggest magical battery out there for people in the west practicing magic that is something to bear in mind. For some people if they've got asthma or breathing conditions incense can be a problem from that point of view it's actually the fragrance that attracts the spirits rather than just the smoke. I'd use oil burners rather than incense which are less likely to cause problems for people who do have any issues with elongs so it is important to keep in mind that we can use the technology of our time. We shouldn't be afraid to update where it's relevant and it's useful.
