You need to hit a sweet spot on price that both sides are happy with. You want to make people think they're getting their money's worth. Great way to tease it out is ask people for ranges. People are remarkably much more willing to throw out ranges than specific numbers. When somebody uses a range, what they're going to have in mind is the end of that range that favors them.
