There were very few reporters out there in Ramadi, very few reporters. So when there's not a lot of reporters, there's not much information. And so it would have been hard to really understand what was going on without actually having him around. Mark did an awesome job of forming relationships with Iraqis and making them want to play American sports like football or soccer. They didn't ever want to play baseball; they wanted to play soccer. I obviously knew he was in a very dangerous place. I was watching all the casualties come in every day.
