Timothy Stanley: This will be the case of a lifetime for a lot of people. He says Trump's attorney, Chris Kies, was trying to get Trump to make a deal with the DOJ in order to avoid all of this. But if he had listened, then at that point in the investigation, was it even a realistic option that he could have forestalled a criminal charge here? Stanley: Well, sometimes the boat gets away from the dock and there's no going back. I don't think President Trump would have ever taken a deal.
