How to Generate and Reflect in the Creative Process

In the generate phase, you are allowing yourself to move through many iterations of your ideas. You're understanding your intent more deeply through that generative process. That's stage four. And in the reflection stage, you are looking at your work with a sense of curiosity, not criticism. This is the thing that people, I think, confuse. They put the reflection far too soon in the creative process. It will shut you down and make you blocked if you overly create or reflect on what you're making.
