How to Get Ahead of Your Mentor
Mentors will never tell you what you want to hear. They'll probably say something like, I think that's a stupid idea. Maybe I'm not seeing what you see in it. And my opinion being positive will have no impact on your success. So if you can figure out how to make this work and it's something you really want to do, maybe you should do it. But I wouldn't because helping people out of the gate has done nothing but burn me.
