Many podcasters commit to failure before they even start by choosing a format that is going to be too difficult or too exhausting given other obligations. He didn't monetize the podcast until 2030 episodes in; those are some of the waiting window.

Over his venture career, he has worked with such companies as GrubHub, Nextdoor, OpenTable, Stitch Fix, Uber, and Zillow.
