Do You Think We're Getting Better?
Production designers need to do their own gut checks throughout the entire creative process, says Jason. When you lift something out of a culture without any kind of attempt to understand it, that is generally where you cross over into the problematic zone. Do you think things are getting better in that regard? Orr things? It's hard to say. I think thatt better in the sense that these are conversations that people understand happen. But there's also signs that it could get worse too.
