"When your action has meaning, it's that much more thrilling," says director JJ Abrams. "I feel like with these two movies, where I engage with them the least, is when the McGuffin is the thing that I am supposed to care about the most", he adds. "[In Fallout] Ethan is choosing to kill the bad people for the good ... we're seeing him literally enact his belief system."
