Behind the Bastards

CHAPTER

Octavius, a Rich King, Dies

Tiberius, a rich king in Roman history, dies and leaves all his money to the roman people. His enemies are angry that they're not going to get that gold so he sets up a state commiss to redistribute this public land. The citizens of Rome then vote on whether or not to strip octavius out of his office for what he's doing. Octavius survives but tiberius is killed by a mob who want to kill him. Tiberius was encouraged to run for a third term as tribunes were considered inviolable. He proposed several new populis measures which enraged his enemies.
