Petro You Won Instead of Petro Dollar?
Soudi arabia has an arrangement with the United States that allows it to protect itself from American ships. Now russia is trying to get back into the oil and gas business by cutting off its supply of natural gas, which would hurt soudy arabia's economy. China approaches Russia saying they should consider doing petro dollars instead of the U.S. dollar as their reserve currency. The value of the US dollar will drop substantially if this goes away - like america becoming brazilio or Brazil.
