The Importance of Eros in the Temple
Paganism is like a magnetic but dark revelry of sacrifices and blood. It can make it for a while, but then it collapses why the great mother societies were based on it. The prophet was radically filled with Eros - he wasn't this ethical teacher. Genuine Eros means there's right relationship between all the parts, which is ethics. If I'm allured to, I can't rip your heart out. That's not ever greater wholeness.
