The complexities of the slave trading really high was all just rooting in capitalism. They even have this one scene where the king is having a conversation and, um, you know, he's his conscience is like, man, I don't know if I want to keep doing this. So they showed those complexities throughout the movie. The film touches on something that you don't really hear about a lot in the history books.
