Malthus and the Industrial Revolution
When Malthus was writing his book, the world's population was around 1 billion people in 1800. And now we're up to 8 billion, as you say, maybe next week,. We're going to hit 8 billion, which is a great milestone. It's just a bunch of fear based on an extremely limited understanding of economics. So I think that the Austrians need to question their assumptions about money supply when it's not right.
