The Two-Age Idea of the Day of the Lord
The two-age idea is why New Testament writers can speak of being in the last days, and yet still not have the day of the Lord fulfilled. The kingdom present doesn't mean that it's just sitting there and not moving, not going anywhere. We should be thinking about the transition to the new heaven and the new earth. You are living in a time that is moving to the transition. Every system should be thinking on those terms.
