The Fed Won't Fight Inflation Back, Why?

If the fed was serious about fighting inflation, it would be raising intrestrates much faster. It would have started the fight before we had all these bad numbers. A year or two ago higher interest rates would have been very painful for the economy because of the effect on the bubble. But now there is a bigger monster to fight and even more collateral damage from an over leveraged economy. I think that's going to start a run on the dollar which will propel the price of gold and silver to new highes. And unfortunately, a lot of americans are going to be trapped inside.
