How Hard Was It for You to Come Out?
Ivan and Uve were the first gay couple to register a civil union in Denmark. Ivan says coming out was not easy for him or his wife, but they are proud of their decision. They have been fighting for same-sex couples' rights since the seventies. The aids epidemic helped them win more rights as well - with help from danish authorities.
