Ian Rothkopf: I think by the time affirmative action kicks in, you already have massive social problems that just aren't going to be solved by tweaking the admissions process at a handful of elite universities. He says Harvard has terrible numbers when it comes to Asian students and there is no Asian face who's standing up like Abigail Fisher behind this case. Rothkopff: If we are committed to solving these problems, the way you do it is not saying, well here are 36 black kids and we're going to let them go to Harvard. You need to solve the problem even before Kindergarten.
