The Women's Partnership in Science
Rita Levi Montauchini worked with Victor Humburger, who was a neurologist. Otto Hahn and Lees Meitner initially worked together in Nazi Germany. Many of these women were working out of the establishment. They were thinkers and polymaths there. I think it's connected. There were huge difficulties in training and working. But they also had a weird kind of freedom. Everything took a long time. So there was years and years and years to process their results. This is an important part of science for them and for today's scientists.
