The Left Hemisphere and Modernism
It's very unlikely that we've all got schizophrenia. In fact, it's impossible. So the interesting thing to me is that when people have schizophrenia, they behave very like they've had a right hemisphere stroke. There was an exaggerated left hemisphere overdrive. That's the sort of way the left hemisphere tends to view the same thing that the right hemisphere sees as living complex and not to be reduced in this way.
