The reason why they visit these plants, is for breeding purposes. As you may find as many as four or five beetles at one time in here. There have been incidents where they found like 120 beetles in a single. And it helps the pollen graze stick to it. That's right. It gets all sticky, and then it is covered with pollen. The pollination schemes are not easily observed because you gotta go sit out there.
