CNN's John Sutter asked paleontologists to share their memories of childhood. Paleontologist David Perry says he comes from a family of scientists. His mom has a PhD in computer sciences, his aunt is a PhD chemist. He also had an undergrad research experience at the California Academy of Sciences.
