The Green Barrese was one of the biggest movies of 1968, not far below Rosemary's Baby and Planet of the Apes. Ronald Reagan tried to get tickets for him and his wife Nancy, only to be told there were none available. Michael Lee saw it while he was in jump school at Fort Benning, Georgia. We liked it because it's all we had, like a crust of bread to a starving man.
