Queer Theory
I suppose queer theory is academically speaking, it's how we think of sexuality and gender. And that queerness is I suppose an act of rebellion. We perform a particular in a particular way in order to fit with a particular expectation. So like masculinity. That I suppose queerness fits in when you begin to not fit those normal performative measures. There's probably people who are expressing queer theory listening to this and being like, no, he's so wrong.
