The final two studies are different from the Indian study and ECOG 2108. These trials did not build in a four to eight month period of systemic therapy prior to randomization. The surgical resection arm was also more likely to be hormone receptor positive, less likely to be triple negative. However, the survival benefit persisted in the subset of hormone receptor positive patients.
