Is There Value in Having One Publication?
i think we underestimated how rare it is to have one publication work. There's a lot of value in having one publication where all the readers go to, and then sending out writers that aren't necessarily forced to have their own publication on their shoulders. We're selecting for writers who can successfully sort of entertain or interest our existing readers much more tightly than we were before. But at the same time, because they can now reach an audience of like, 50 thousand plus, whereas before they we could tell our audience about them,. but we weren't distributing their posts, like by drvault every week.
