There are still some barriers that prevent Japanese people from going abroad like lack of foreign language skills. But frustration towards low wages is very much there. Japan already suffers from population decline and acute labor shortages. It can't afford to lose any talent at all. So it's very worrying that a bigger exodus could be looming.
