The Antithesis of the Hypocrisy of the Enslaved
Douglas Brinkley talks about how the enslaved of the slavers and their churches made a humanizing connection with each other. He says there's kind of this push to say um to make policies that don't allow for the truth of the black experience to be told. People who are doing that are actually participating in continuing this curse that has plagued us for these centuries of enslavement, he said.
