How to Convert a Space to No Dig Beds

No dig means you don't disturb the soil or disturb it as little as possible. Mulch means covering with any kind of initially lightestuding material which stops the weeds growing and then feeding the soil life with organic matter on the surface. So that's cardboard and compost but in a way an easier way except you can't grow so much while you're doing it is plastic. That first year can be quite challenging if you've got persistent and vigorous weeds. But if you can hang in there those weed roots only have limited energy and they do eventually die. The best most effective way to deal with them is actually to use a space where appropriate. It's like no dig is not a kind
