Amo's Dualist Philosophy

Amo came from the Akon people, and we know a lot about their view of personhood. Quasi Wiridu has suggested that Amo's dualist philosophy may have been influenced by these beliefs. But it seems unlikely given that he was only a young child when transported to Africa. It could presumably be something he discovered upon his return to Africa later in life.
