The language makes pretty pervasively make the distinction between control or non-control actions. The reason it matters so much is because there are voice change possibilities and rules. So, for example, the archaic middle voice cannot be used with a plus control verb. And I like that in terms of naturalism having restraints and restrictions and actually thinking about that. That was mean. You're thinking about the semantics of your verbs a little bit more,. Ooh, this is interesting.
