The Contemplative Prayer Stuff

The Lord's prayer and all prayers in the Bible, as I point out, are verbal. So contemplative prayer is not verbally oriented. Another one is that the Lord's prayer, as we call it, that Jesus taught his disciples has a clear certain, kind of a pattern to it. It's not a technique, it's a pattern where you acknowledge God,. You thank God, you petition God, you ask God for forgiveness, you ask for protection. And so if we want to know about prayer, what I always see them saying is: "Pray!"
