In British culture, we have this kind of sense of asking more indirectly because maybe there's a small chance it might not be okay. So rather than saying, I'm going to use the bathroom, in the UK we might just say, would it be okay if I used your bathroom? Would it be okayIf I popped to the toilet? We're asking as a question. And again, I don't think it's something that you learners have to worry about. Whatever you say, it's going to be fine. You're not going to offend anyone. But especially when you get to more advanced levels, it's very interesting to hear these differences,. Right? What do these differences say
