Xiao Zhen-Hong's Dough Figurines

In the past, doe figurines were not made in a layer by layer fashion. It was more like finishing everything in Wang Go as they were usually small objects. When I started to make bigger figurines, I adopted the technique of finishing some parts first, waiting for them to dry properly before moving on with the next step. This technique gives the figurines more layers and a life-like appearance. In real practice, it often takes a month to finish a larger figurine work.
