Exploring the unique 200-meter obstacle course swim event at the 1900 Paris Olympics, where swimmers faced challenges like climbing over poles and swimming under boats on the river Seine, with only 12 competitors finishing the race and Frederick Lane of Australia claiming the gold medal.
