The Battle of Lake Trasamine
Flaminius, the other consul in Aturia was pursuing Hannibal's army. He camped outside of nearby Lake Trasamine where a battle is believed to have taken place. The Gauls had been caught by Roman armies marching in from opposite directions and were destroyed. But Flaminius wanted to make sure that he heads in a way that Roman armies could get together and crush him.
