How to Survive a Dad's Death
Getting frustrated with her dad won't change him and will only cause her more pain. I faced a similar challenge with my dad, but what we want for someone isn't necessarily what they want to. What she sees as sad and lonely, he seems quite content with. If he was that sad and lonely,. he'd change something, but he seems to enjoy the small length he's living. Try to make your dad aware of the implications of his actions, both positive and negative. You absolutely need to put distance between you. But maybe he'll cope better hearing if old people don't like him as well. Maybe he'll get the message.
