The Book of Acts Is Not Prescriptive
When you read the book of Acts, it is not primarily prescriptive. It is descriptive. And I think people that take abuses that abuse versus like this always have the view of the book ofActs as a prescriptive book. This was to be a sign that the gospel was true. But there is no prescription here that we should be doing this stuff today.
