Common Core Math Home Work
Common core is a new set of math standards introduced by the school system. Students are forced to give abstract reasons for coming up with answers that are incorrect, and you've got a recipe for turning kids off to math,. specifically for the rest of their lives. The emphasis is really moving more towards the explanation and the how and the why. If they can pass the bar exam, an exam in which you don't get partial credit for getting the answers wrong, like you do in common corps, then your kid might have a good chance at bull shioting or persuasive communication skills.
