What Is American Literature?
I think that literature is what the ader gets from what the author intended. What i seek to a decipher in the book is who has been reading a hucklevery thing? And how have they been seeing this book? I want to see if they reflect certain ideas that americans have about themselves, or whether they are actually moving to create those self conceptions and challenge them.
