Huston was derided for dozing off at meetings. Jones labelled him an archaleptic, victim of a disease marked by sudden and deep sleep. Then he attacked him as a traitor and class enemy. Huston tried to make the best of a painful situation by learning about building trades. The physical discipline be an in a small way, and only gradually reached extremes. Some were spanked almost half heartedly or in fairly good humor. Other spankings qualified as beatings. In one of the most extreme teenage linda myrtle was hit 75 times for becoming too affectionate with an alleged lesbian.
