Introduction

Gentile followers of jesus never died, says Paul. So how could they have been dead? That's a question that gets raised from the page three of the bible. Scripture seems to argue that there is more than one ways to be alive and more than one way to be dead. We humans were made to be connected to and in relationship with god. When we don't live connected to god, or when we don'tLive in god's vision of a good life, we're dying. And die, not ays in the ways that we notice quickly, but in the Ways that are most vital.
